While this landlord is not the worst out there, he’s pretty bad. The building itself is run down and old. The landlord is unresponsive and doesn’t fix/look into problems that you tell him about. He refused (yes refused, even though we asked multiple times) to turn on the heat until mid-October - which is illegal. We’ve also reported multiple problems to him that he hasn’t even addressed like mice, an uninsulated closet and multiple heater problems. He doesn’t answer his phone and doesn’t get back to you half of the time.

But because he actually responds to problems about 20% of the time that, unfortunately, makes him better than some landlords.
